Katie Williams is a Solicitor and Head of the Litigation team at HSR Law, specialising in a range of contentious matters and providing practical, straightforward advice to individuals, businesses and families.
Katie joined HSR Law in 2019 as a Senior Solicitor in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, bringing with her considerable experience in handling a broad range of disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Katie worked for a local authority dealing with general litigation matters.
Katie obtained a 2:1 degree in Law in 2005 before completing her training contract with a firm in Lincoln. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 and has since developed extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
Now heading HSR Law’s Litigation team, Katie has expertise in disputes involving Wills, estates, trusts and property. She understands that these matters can often arise at difficult or emotional times and works closely with her clients to understand their circumstances, explain the options available and identify a practical way forward.
Katie takes a pragmatic approach to resolving disputes and, where possible, seeks to achieve an appropriate resolution without the need for unnecessary court proceedings.
Where litigation is required, she provides clear advice and guidance throughout the process, ensuring clients understand both the legal and practical implications of the decisions they make.
