What is a commercial (business) lease?

A commercial (business) lease is a legal document that is agreed between a Landlord (usually the property owner) and a Tenant (who wants to occupy the property) for the use of the Landlord’s non-residential or commercial property.

The lease provides for the use of the property in return for a rental payment. A commercial lease might be used for a lease of an office building, a warehouse unit, a restaurant, a pub or for bare yard space/storage land for example.
