Job Description

We are seeking an organised and proactive Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy Residential Conveyancing team in our Doncaster office. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with legal administration or conveyancing experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and growing legal practice.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and practical support to fee earners handling residential property transactions, helping to ensure matters progress efficiently from instruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to Conveyancers and Fee Earners.
  • Opening new client files and carrying out client due diligence and AML checks.
  • Preparing and issuing client care documentation.
  • Requesting searches and obtaining property-related documentation.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and other third parties.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and telephone enquiries.
  • Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate file records.
  • Preparing draft documents and legal forms under supervision.
  • Assisting with exchange and completion processes.
  • Monitoring key dates and ensuring files progress in a timely manner.
  • Handling post-completion administration, including Land Registry applications where required.
  • Supporting the team with general office and administrative duties
